What is Buttr?
Buttr is our name for Mwili's whipped body butter. It's whipped until light and fluffy, so it spreads easily and melts into your skin.
Who is it for?
Anyone with normal to very dry skin, especially through long, dry Calgary winters. Buttr is rich enough for very dry skin but light enough for everyday use, and it melts in without a greasy feel. It's gentle enough for the whole family. For little ones or sensitive skin, try a small patch first.
What does Mwili mean?
Mwili means body in Swahili, because caring for your skin is caring for yourself.
What sizes are there?
Mwili Buttr is the full 8 oz jar ($30), your everyday jar. Mwili Buttr Petite is the 1 oz travel size ($10), perfect for your bag, as a gift, or for trying a new scent. Mix any three Petites for $27, and get a free Petite on orders of $90 or more.

How do delivery and pickup work?
Pickup in downtown Calgary (T2P) is free. We deliver across Calgary on Fridays: $5 for the inner city and $8 for the rest of Calgary, and free on orders of $60 or more. Order by Thursday at 12 pm for that Friday's delivery.
Do you ship outside Calgary?
Not yet. Whipped body butter can soften in warm weather, so we're testing packaging before we ship across Alberta and Canada. Follow @mwiliskincare to hear when shipping opens.
How do I place an order?
Choose your scent and size, add it to your order, pick delivery or pickup, then copy your order and email it to mwiliskincare@gmail.com. We'll reply to confirm payment and delivery. Online checkout is coming soon.
Why does my Buttr look different from the whipping photos?
Freshly whipped Buttr is fluffy and swirly. Once it rests in the jar, it settles and sets, so it looks a little different from the whipping photos. That’s completely normal. It still melts right in as soon as it touches warm skin.
What is your refund policy?
For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on skincare. If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of pickup or delivery at mwiliskincare@gmail.com or 647-569-6993. Please include your name, order details and a photo, and we’ll refund the affected item. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
Is Buttr vegan?
No. Buttr contains beeswax, which helps lock in moisture. Every other ingredient is plant-based.
I have sensitive skin or allergies. Is it right for me?
Please check the full ingredient list above. Buttr contains shea, mango and kokum butters and coconut-derived oil. If you have sensitive skin, try a small patch first. The 1 oz Petite is a good way to test.
How do I use and store it?
Apply it to damp skin, right after a shower or bath. Pat yourself lightly with a towel, then warm a small scoop between your palms and smooth it on. Damp skin lets the butter seal moisture in. On completely dry skin it mostly sits on the surface. A little goes a long way. Store it away from heat and sun. If it ever melts, only the texture changes, not how well it works. Best used within 12 months.
